What is a Youth Ambassador?
Mission: Empower youth ages 12-21 to be positive leaders and advocates in their communities by addressing bullying, mental health, and leadership development through virtual and in-person opportunities.
The Youth Ambassador Program targets youth and young adults aged 14-21 who are passionate about making a difference in their communities. Any student that is interested within the age group can become a Youth Ambassador. This work is important because bullying remains a pervasive issue that can have severe consequences for victims, perpetrators, and bystanders. This program is a peer to per model, led by other peers with oversight from the program staff. The students can earn points toward a scholarship fund for their participation and engagement.
